BLOGGING - And making the most of your blog content
DATE: 26th February 2016
TIME: 7.30am for 8am
VENUE: 29 Member’s Club, Royal Exchange Square, Glasgow
Remarkably, it’s now 16 months since we last looked at Blogging as a New Media Breakfast topic. Whilst the act of blogging may not have changed too much in this period, the ways that you can syndicate the content you write about have changed a great deal. There are many ways you can use your blog content to reach a relevant audience - both online and offline.
It’s also fair to say that the way people consume your content has changed a great deal. So, the February New Media Breakfast will explore what has changed and the things you now need to consider when creating blog content, and the new things you can do to extend its reach, both online and offline.
In addition to looking at the format of your blog, we will also discuss that old favourite - blog content. What works, when to post, how to get it shared, and why blogging remains a powerful element in any successful social media marketing strategy.
If there is something relating to blogging you would particularly like us to cover, please email gordon@fatbuzz.com prior to the event and we’ll do our best to incorporate it into the presentation.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND?
Basically, anyone who wants to operate a successful social media strategy. Anyone currently struggling with blogging platforms or content creation, or anyone using a blog who wants some additional inspiration to make sure it is working effectively for their business.
